The De La Salle Scout Group was founded in 1928 and is based in Waterford City in the southeast of Ireland. It is part of the Waterford Scout County of Scouting Ireland and consists of two Beaver Colonies, three Macaoimh (Cub Scout) Packs, two Scout Troops, a Venture Scout Group, as well as a Scout Pipe Band.

 Pipe Band Summer Success:  : At the IPBA Leinster Solo Piping and Drumming competition held in Palmerstown in Dublin on Saturday November 5th 2011 ten young De La Salle Scout pipers and drummers did exceptionally well when they competed against some very tough opposition from players from all over Dublin City and County, Cork, Limerick and Wexford.  Find out more on our Group News page.  Connaught MPC Expedition Report:  : In September this year the 7th De La Salle Scout Troop took part in the Connaught MPC in Co.
