Dlscouts.ie is the new website, blog and social media hub of the De La Salle Scout Group but it will only be as good as the content that the 280 members of our Group add to it!

The De La Salle Scout Group launched its first website in March 1997 after Liam Butler the Unit Leader at the time asked Assistant Scoutleader Colm Ennis to look into it at a Unit Council in December 1996.

Love it or hate it, you can’t really ignore it! Facebook seems to have become the ubiquitous networking site for many people these days and that includes a lot of the 1600+ weekly visitors to dlscouts.ie. Luckily Facebook is also a really intelligent and well-run site which makes it easy for community sites

County Website and County Badge Launched

We have just received news that the new Waterford Scout County website is up an running. The website will feature news and information on all groups and sections in the county as well as a gallery, resources page and a guestbook.  The website is just getting established and would gratefully receive
