This year saw the biggest participation by De La Salle Scout Group in a County Competition since the days of the Ted Ryan and the Louis Murphy. 5 teams, 2 from The 3rd, 2 from the 7th and 1 from the very newly re-opened 13th took to the field on
The Munster mini bands was hosted by De La Salle Scout Pipe Band and took place in St. Stephen’s National School last weekend. The band had quite an amount of trophies by the end of the weekend.
We arrived at the den in Kilkenny at 7 o’clock on Friday the 19th of April 2013. As we were sleeping in the scout hall we had no tents to pitch, so we were allowed to do our own thing.
On Friday at 7pm 11 Ventures, Neillers and Riordan meet on Mayors Walk to get the gear ready to load when it arrived.
We went to Portlaw to go on the train at 11 o’clock.
