This year saw the biggest participation by De La Salle Scout Group in a County Competition since the days of the Ted Ryan and the Louis Murphy. 5 teams, 2 from The 3rd, 2 from the 7th and 1 from the very newly re-opened 13th took to the field on Friday evening for a weekend filled with camp craft, bases, a test meal, a special project and the odd casualty.
6 teams have qualified automatically for the Phoenix which will take place in Castle Saunderson in mid August and with a possibility of another 2 teams to qualify.
In the end, there were just 4 marks between first and second place. St. Paul’s Fox Patrol came first, 7th DLS A team came second and Faithlegg came third. The 3rd DLS A team came 6th qualifying for the Phoenix too.
