De La Salle Scout Pipe Band made their inaugural appearance in the Arklow Seabreeze Festival on Sunday last the 15th of July 2012.The drum corps won again in Grade 5 while the band came second in the same grade. They were winners of the street parade and also came third in Grade 4 while young Niamh Burke received a trophy for her Drum Major display.
The band are busy practicing for their visit to Lorient in Brittany,France where they will take part in the Festival Interceltique. The band will compete in competitions and play in several open air concerts including the final day which will be attended by tens of thousands of people. The festival with take place from the 3rd of August to the 12th.
