First County Commissioners Woodbadge Training Held

The first Scouting Ireland County Commissioners Basic Woodbadge Training took place in the Centre for Excellence Training Centre in Waterford Crystal last weekend with all of the Provincial Management Support Team for the South East.  Waterford Crystal were so impressed with the level of management training that was provided for the Team and the fat that they gave up their weekend to do the training, they presented all of the attendees with a piece of Waterford Crystal. Jody Phelan who is a member of the management in Waterford Crystal and County Commissioner for the Waterford Scout County made the presentation on behalf of the company.

The training team for the weekend were, Bernie Rogers, Trainer in Charge and the other members were Pat Murphy, David Rogers, Sean Hayes, John Culbert and Brian Fanning. The Provincial Commissioner Derrick Watson, the PRO Justin Maher, Provincial Secretary Tom O’Neill, Provincial Treasurer John Wallace, Website Fiona Phelan, Newsletter Conor O’Sullivan, County Commissioners Jody Phelan, Francis Minogue, Ollie Kehoe, Aidan Brennan, Anthony Corcoran and Billy Gaynor all attended the weekend.
