Welcome to the De La Salle Scout Group website and blog!

The De La Salle Scout Group was founded in 1928 and is based in Waterford City in the southeast of Ireland. It is part of the Waterford Scout County of Scouting Ireland and consists of two Beaver Colonies, three Cub Scout Packs, three Scout Troops, a Venture Scout Crew, a Rover Scout Crew as well as a Scout Pipe Band.

County Challenge Delight as 6 quailify for Phoenix

This year saw the biggest participation by De La Salle Scout Group in a County Competition since the days of the Ted Ryan and the Louis Murphy. 5 teams, 2 from The 3rd, 2 from the 7th and 1 from the very newly re-opened 13th took to the field on Friday evening for a weekend filled with camp craft, bases, a test meal, a special project and the odd casualty.   Read more →
