The De La Salle Scout Group was founded in 1928 and is based in Waterford City in the southeast of Ireland. It is part of the Waterford Scout County of Scouting Ireland and consists of two Beaver Colonies, three Macaoimh (Cub Scout) Packs, two Scout Troops, a Venture Scout Group, as well as a Scout Pipe Band.

We currently have vacancies in the Beavers (6-8 years)  Macaoimh (8-10 years) and Scouts (10-15 years). Our Pipe Band is also open to all from Macaoimh age upwards who are interested in learning the pipes or drums.

: Our hugely popular Comeragh Mountains feature has many great photos, a description of the range and some hike and even rock-climbing suggestions. This year we are hoping as ever for some good winter hiking weather in our local range - we'll let you know how we get on.
